Terms & Conditions

1. These terms and conditions apply to all transactions between yourself, the ("Customer") and New & Lingwood Limited ("New & Lingwood"). We may amend these terms from time to time, and you will be notified of any amendments by a notice on our web site.

2. No contract shall exist between you and New & Lingwood until New & Lingwood has sent you an email or other document confirming receipt and acceptance of any order you wish to place. After that confirmation New & Lingwood is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious error or inaccuracy regarding the order confirmation, price, or goods themselves.

3. Customers who shop on-line must be 18 years or over. When you purchase goods from New & Lingwood you will be asked to provide your name, email address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number and credit or debit card details. New & Lingwood only accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, American Express, Diners Club, JCB, Delta and Connect.

4. New & Lingwood's obligation to you is dependent upon the availability of goods and New & Lingwood may place a restriction on the volume of goods ordered by one customer

5. Prices shown on the web site are the prices for which New & Lingwood will sell its (good's at) the time of display. Information concerning price and availability is subject to change without notice. Prices as displayed are inclusive of VAT at the standard UK rate. New & Lingwood will charge an additional charge for delivery the amount of which will vary according to the postal region that you choose. In the unlikely event that goods are unavailable, or New & Lingwood has to vary the price from that shown on its web site after receipt of your order, New & Lingwood will send you notification and allow you the opportunity to cancel your order if New & Lingwood has not done so itself already.

6. We will make every effort to fulfil and deliver orders within the delivery option requested at the time the order was placed. However, we cannot guarantee this and will not accept responsibility if your order is delivered outside this time which must be regarded as an estimate, and is also dependent on availability and normal processing. We cannot be liable for late delivery for any reason beyond our control.

7. Payment will be obtained by debiting your account on despatch of your order and not before. Title to the goods will pass to you upon payment in full. Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery. At delivery a valid signature will be required from a member of your household, who is aged 18 or over or a Company official, if delivered to a Company address. At that point the goods will be deemed delivered and you will be deemed to be the owner of the goods subject only to your rights set out elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions.

8. New & Lingwood operate a policy of refund or exchange. All merchandise purchased online can be returned at anytime within thirty days for an automatic refund or exchange. We will not make refunds for any shoes that have been worn. We unfortunately cannot refund you the original cost of post & packaging, but we will pay for return postage, if posted from the United Kingdom. If you feel that you wish to send back the merchandise for an exchange or refund, the merchandise should be returned to New & Lingwood within 30 days of delivery with a completed "return form" which you can obtain by e-mail request to info@newandlingwood.com. Please send goods for refund to New & Lingwood Limited, Freepost No 1061, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 6BR.

9. We recommend that you keep your certificate of posting receipt, as this is your proof of posting in the unlikely event that your parcel goes missing. In the case of faulty goods we will use reasonable efforts to replace them, but if a replacement is not possible or if we choose to cancel, our only obligation will be to refund the full amount paid by you. For peace of mind you may wish to send the merchandise Recorded Delivery, but we regret that we cannot refund this charge. This and the other terms contained in these terms and conditions are not intended to affect your statutory rights.

9. Colour shape and scale accuracy of the display on our web site cannot be guaranteed as this depends on your computer.

10. All the design, text and imagery on the web site is for the copyright of New & Lingwood. The site may not be altered in any way or republished without permission from New & Lingwood.

11. New & Lingwood reserves the right to withdraw its web site facility without notice.

12. The contract will be governed by English law and all disputes submitted to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

13. If for any reason part of these Terms and Conditions if unenforceable the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.
